Kenji is a well­known, experienced musician with a multitude of public appearances, including: 

• Appearing on One News, Breakfast and FreshTV for live performance with Yoko­Zuna
• Performing on Dr. Olivier Hollande’s DMA Recital in 2014
• Performed with Bailey Wailey and Yoko­Zuna at Ted Talks 2015
• Sold out shows at Q Theatre 2015 and Kings Arms 2016 with Yoko Zuna 
• Charting at number 12 in the official NZ music charts for album This Place Here with Yoko Zuna 2015 
• Recording and performing with established NZ artists, such as P­Digsss (Shapeshifter), Laughton Kora (Kora), David Dallas, Rodney Fischer, Tom Scott (Homebrew, @peace)
• Receiving NZ on Air video funding for song ‘Ones Cycle’ with Yoko Zuna featuring Bailey  Wailey 2015 
• Receiving full recording funding from Red Bull Studios for Yoko Zuna EP ‘luminols’ 2015
• Winning the ‘Best Young Guitarist’ award at the National Jazz festival in Tauranga 2012
• Won the Avondale college Matt Panman award for best Jazz improviser in 2012
• Nominated for the Taite Independent music prize with Yoko Zuna 2015

He is a very qualified tutor, having completed a bachelor of Music at Auckland University  majoring in Jazz guitar and a diploma in Teaching from Rockschool.
