Equipped with 15 years of personal playing experience and over ten years of extensive performance experience in various  contemporary bands and orchestras and several solo appearances across New Zealand on multiple occasions, Erik is adept and insightful as a musician and performer.

Moreover, he has attained multiple musical excellence awards academically, including (but not limited to) prestigious First in  class awards in  several papers at  the University of  Auckland over two  consecutive years,  recently graduating  with a Bachelor of Music qualification. 

When he is not teaching or playing, Erik is exploring new resources and new innovative ways to reach his students musically.
