Ting-TingFoster

Ting-Ting began her first music piano lesson at aged seven and pass Kawaii piano exam grade 7 at age 12. At age 10, she joined the rhythm band which is led by Ju Percussion group, mastering Xylophone and Vibraphone. Since then she attends many public performances with Ju Percussion Group. After moving to New Zealand, she picked up drumming and performing in many music festivals such as Parachute and Festival One. She also had opportunity to record an album with her band in York Street.

After 10 years of amateur drumming, Ting-Ting decides to take her skill further and enrolled in Bachelor of Music, majoring in Jazz performance in Drum. Not only learning drum in the university, she is currently mentored by Australian drummer Simon Barker. Furthermore, she continually develops her percussion skills by performing in numerous bands such as West City Concert Band and University Symphonic band.

  • 2010 Parachute Festival
  • 2015 Festival One
  • 2016 Concert Band Festival in Gisborne (band received Gold award)
  • 2016 Collaborate with Silver Circle “Between Worlds” show
