LaiOlive
Olive is a violinist with over 15 years of playing and 8 years of performance experiences. She is
heavily involved in orchestras and chamber groups across Auckland. As a music teacher for 6 years
with the background as a registered nurse, she is experienced in teaching students from all kinds of
learning capabilities and ages. Besides teaching, Olive is also active in various music events across
Auckland.

- First Violin in Manukau Symphony Orchestra
- First Violin in New Zealand Yellow River Symphony Orchestra
- First Violin in Medical and Health Science Students’ Symphony Orchestra (2013)
- Co-coordinator at Ad-hoc Auckland Chamber Music Group (2012-2014)
- Member or various quartets across Auckland
- Production Assistant for various classical and popular music concerts

- ABRSM Grade 8 Violin Performance, passed with distinction
- Certificate in Music Teaching
- Macleans Chamber Orchestra Most Improved Player of the Year 2011
